How Your Donation Will Help
Since 2015 when Salama Stove started it's Stove Donation Project in Kenya, we've managed to change the lives of many families by giving them a new Salama Stove.
Stoves are donated to families who have already suffered the tragedy of a burned child from open fires in their home. We find these families through our links with local hospital burn units. Families that benefit from stove donations are often living off the grid and have a very low income. The cheaper running costs of the Salama Stove help alleviate some of the financial burden of a family caring for an injured child, and the entire family benefits from reduced air pollution and decreased risks of burns.
Help us provide more families with a safer & healthier cooking solution.
If nothing is done, children will continue to be at risk of burns from open fires & families will continue to suffer the effects of breathing in smoke and fumes.
